Platanias, one of the most developed tourist areas of the northern axis of Chania and just 11 km from the city of Chania and 150 m from the center of Platanias are the  Anthimos Apartments.

Opposite Platanias, is impressive and beautiful island of Ag.Theodoron or Thodorou. The island, is meant to protect the Cretan wild goat or kri-kri.

The visits to the area of the island is prohibited to the public, and allowed only a day of celebration of Ag.Theodoron, where and feast.
